Lisa Lambert
Founder & CEO
Lisa Lambert is the founder and CEO of Whitestone Investors. A Silicon Valley venture capitalist, with over 35 years of experience in the technology, software, and energy industries, leading innovation and investment initiatives at global companies and private venture capital firms.
As Chief Technology and Innovation Officer of National Grid Group, plc, her focus was on advancing energy systems, at the intersection of energy and emerging technology to create a smarter, renewable future. She was also founder and President of National Grid Partners, the innovation and investment group for National Grid Group, plc., where she led 43 equity investments, launched 16 new businesses within her innovation foundry, initiated over 30 business collaborations with portfolio startups and National Grid’s operating businesses, and formed the NextGrid Alliance, with 104 utilities collaborating on clean energy projects and investments.
Prior to National Grid, Ms. Lambert was a managing partner at The Westly Group, a clean technology private venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley, where she was responsible for investments in energy technology companies. Prior to The Westly Group, she worked at Intel Corporation for 19 years and was Vice President and Managing Director of Intel Capital’s Software and Services sector and the Founder and Managing Director of the $125 million Intel Capital Diversity Fund.
During her tenure at Intel Capital, Lisa Lambert led equity investments, incubations, business development, and innovation projects, overseeing global investments in over 100 companies such as VMware (IPO), MySQL (acquired by SUN), Endeca (acquired by Oracle), and JBoss (acquired by RedHat). She achieved top decile returns with seven IPOs and 60+ M&A exits while managing a large team of investment professionals.

Tejas Vaid
Tejas Vaid is an Senior Associate at Whitestone Investors, III LLC, where he focuses on early to growth-stage investments in enterprise software startups. With six years of professional experience, Tejas has assessed numerous businesses across diverse sectors, building a solid foundation in venture capital, corporate finance, and strategic deal-making.
Previously, Tejas worked at National Grid Partners, the venture capital and innovation arm of National Grid, where he specialized in sourcing and conducting due diligence on enterprise software investments. Earlier, he worked at Pantomath Group, assisting mid-market companies with fundraising and strategic transactions.
With a solid financial foundation, Tejas is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and has successfully cleared both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certifications. He also holds a master’s degree in International Finance from Queen Mary, University of London.
Previous investments he worked on include Cloaked (Pre-Series B), Voxel AI (Series B), Luminance AI (Series B), AI-Dash (Series C), Panaseer (Series B), Pathr.ai (Series A), IndiaFiling (Series B), Nanova (Strategic Partnership), Shipwaves (Strategic Partnership), Physic Motor (Seed), CDE Asia (Pre-IPO), Quality Power (IPO), Ritco Logistics (IPO), and Affordable Robotic & Automation (IPO), among others.
Outside of his professional work, Tejas is an active thought leader and writer in the finance space, sharing insights on business, industry trends, and innovations, while also enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking and camping in his free time.
